Sleeping Beauty

We finally managed to put the final touches on the bedroom today! The aim of the room was not so much to make it look all shiny and new but to enhance the character of the room. The house we live in is very much a home for us and its in a wonderful spot just a few klms from the city and across from a large green leafy park.We get beautiful cool breezes through our room and with it all white and crisp its very hard to get out of bed in the morning!  My husband and I both worked on it tirelessly the last few weeks and with the bespoke, hand crafted wardrobes and dresser (thanks to my very handy husband) it is just perfect!

I have added a few modern touches in the form of a Ghost Stool and couple of Alvar Aalto pieces.

Alot of the other small pieces are things i have collected on my travels, a few personal photographs and my most
precious accessories, my doggies and dear husband.

  5. I'm impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that's both equally educative
and engaging, and without a doubt, you've hit the nail on the head. The issue is something which not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I came across this during my search for something concerning this.
